I was licked by Maynard from Tool, got shit faced with the lead guitarist of Snake River Conspiracy, and saw Michael Jackson at Disney.  Thats about the extent of my rock star fiascos.  My mom on the other hand has smoked weed with Rolling Stones, puked on Sid Visious, drunk drunk with the Ramones, and saw Billy Idol naked.

I love that woman.

Oh yeah, and I got to see Eddie Veder chased out of the Hurricane by a screaming mob...which personally was the best.

Personally I was always a bigger fan of their older albums Opiate and Undertow.  Not saying Aenima isn't good (which it is).  And Lateralus is fine if you're on an ounce of shrooms, otherwise it's just ok.

Haven't heard anything yet about the cast.  I just hope Leonardo Dicaprio isn't a part of it.

No shit, saw the tv series, and listened to the radio one as well and both were severely depressing.
>shrug< Was sitting in the theater today to watch National Treasure and they had a preview for it.  Between my mother and I we laughed loud enough to get kicked out.

I wrote this for stepdad, whose been around since i was 9 or so, first as a friend, then later as just my mom's husband, but now he is more father than the man who brought me into this world ever was.

I was once a child, running freely through the grass
as the sun tickled me to laughter.
A little girl once, who was her Daddy's princess,
his sun, moon, and stars.
The clouds rolled in, covering the sun,
and turning the world to shades of gray.
And the little girl's Daddy was now a bottle of beer...
soon empty, and then gone.
Instead of being held to the sky and taught to fly,
it was held down in the gutter, and taught never to cry.
Years have passed in the world of gray,
the little girl grew up, a new Dad in the beer's place.
Who said "If you let me I'll help you fly."
The sun shines again in this young woman's life,
and she runs freely through the grass.
Hand in hand with her new Dad,
who has given the her the world again.
