Already planning a hunger strike against the inhumane draconian right winger/neoliberal gun bans. Gun control is also one of the worst forms of torture. Without guns/weapons its like merely existing and not living.

While the procedure is still said to be risky and unlikely to work in all cases humanity sure has come a long way in stem cell research. With more research and funding into stem cells and this may become a far more common and more reliable operation. Hopefully events such as this will encourage the United States government to increase funding in stem cell research.
With the best luck this will be the first of many breakthroughs during the upcoming decade, lets all work to make the second decade of the 21st century one of progress.

What about antidisesassishabliarianism?

Dated British political beliefs are hardly relevant here good sir.

But yes, I see your point. Though with a word that ridiculous and long one is bound to know what you're going for anyway.

My father was in a similar situation when he attended UC (University of Cincinnati).
He was the first person in his family to attend college and his step-dad wanted him to be a construction worker.

Because of this my dad had to pay for all off his college by himself. Worked 20-30 hour weeks while in school, paid for an off-campus apartment because it was cheaper than on campus, and rode a bike to school everyday. Even with loans it was hard to pay and he had food stamps.

It may have been among the hardest four years of his life but he graduated and is doing well enough right now to send me to school. I feel grateful and guilty not having to go through the same hardships as him.

If you need food stamps to get fed through school do it, that is why such programs exist. Taxes are collected in order to make life better for the less fortunate/well-off inhabitants of the nation.
You have no reason to feel ashamed.

Just an FYI. I flew both ways with my knives on me. But on the way back the bolt of my SAW was locked in a tuffbox in the cargo hold.

How did you manage that?

Well...I am surprised police intimidating a child did not have any negative consequences; other than causing these children hating politicians even more than they already did.
Since when did police worry about 12-year old kids protesting?

Aneristic Illusions / Re: America the Hungry

It's weird, most people do not picture America as a nation with problems feeding its people.

I was surprised as to how filled soup kitchens filled 3 years ago, and back then only served around 100-200 people during my 3 hour shifts every month (It was school volunteer work so roughly 3-6 hours every 2 months, not much). I can only imagine how much more filled these same kitchens I worked in are now if college educated people are being forced down into this situation as well.

I don't consider assish a real word despite occasionally using it. But I suppose it could be considered usable in speech.

Like Lord Glittersnatch I was surprised soldiers who were allowed to carry their firearms on board the plane were being scanned.

So some soldiers returning from combat are allowed to keep their firearms while on the plane, but their nail clippers are considered potentially dangerous weapons.
The TSA again makes us question if they are even doing anything to make traveling safer.

In case of link troubles.
Quote from: Conversation Between Soldier, Narrator, and TSA Officer
This is probably another good time to remind you all that all of us were carrying actual assault rifles, and some of us were also carrying pistols.
So we're in line, going through one at a time. One of our soldiers had his Gerber multi-tool. TSA confiscated it. Kind of ridiculous, but it gets better. A few minutes later, a guy empties his pockets and has a pair of nail clippers; Nail clippers. TSA informs the soldier that they're going to confiscate his nail clippers. The conversation went something like this:

TSA: You can't take those on the plane
Soldier: What? I've had them since we left the country.
TSA: You're not supposed to have them.

Soldier: Why?
TSA: They can be used as a weapon.
Soldier: [touches the butt stock of the rifle] But this actually is a weapon.
TSA: Yeah but you can't use it to take over the plane. You don't have bullets.

Soldier: And I can take over the plane with nail clippers?
TSA: [awkward silence]
Narrator: Dude, just give him your damn nail clippers so we can get the fuck out of here. I'll buy you a new set.

Soldier: [hands the nail clippers to the TSA Officer, makes it through security]

Top top it off, the TSA demanded we all be swabbed for 'explosive residue' detection. Everyone failed, [go figure, we just came home from a war zone], because we tested positive for "Gun Powder Residue." Who the fuck is hiring these people?

This might be a good time to remind everyone that approximately 233 people re-boarded the plane with assault rifles, pistols, and machien guns, but nothing that could be used as a weapon. Can someone please tell me, what the fucked happened to OUR country while we were gone?

That ends the conversation, the actual article is through the links.

Charley is right, I do not shoot much. I simply am unable to shoot often.
I have looked through the entire thread and I still do not see where this quote from read much is located.

If your effective range is 10 yards then you are banned from this conversation.

Just because I have shaky aiming and am incompetent when it comes to aiming a pistol doesn't mean the conversation of which is cooler cannot be had. :x

What is your effective range Mr. Brown?

I am sufficiently hated, unsure as to whether this is good or bad. I evidently suck at life too much to know.

Well it seems I made a little mess, sorry about that guys.
Also nice Holy name Double B, captures the essence of jackassery.
Cannot say I'll be using it though.
