the worst thing they can do is put me out of my misery.
Oh dear me, no.  There is no "worst thing."  It can always get worse.

You talk like someone who still has most of their eyelids intact.

Saskatoon hit 34 C last week; this morning we're at +13, with today's forecast at 22.

Saskatchewan normally has screwy weather, but there's something off this year.  Y'know how beans are stupidly easy to grow?  I had a germination rate of about 50% and what came up isn't doing well.  On the other hand, my carrots often come up patchy, so I sometimes need to reseed some sections two or three times.  This year, they all came up beautifully, on the first planting, and are now threatening to invade the adjacent rows of onions.

I really should stop fertilizing them, for everyone's safety, but they said that if I did that, they would eat the neighbour's cat for nutrients

"What the scientists have in their briefcases is terrifying," said Khrushchev.  But he never asked REDACTED what she had in the bag.

CNO maybe you should read the thread hm? I know you didn't do that shit on purpose. Right?

Mind replacing the name with QGP or [redacted]?

My apologies.

I didn't draw the connection that [redacted] might be a real name. (There's a lesson here about not trying to "participate" in a thread when I don't understand the context).

ETA: Dok, you've missed a redaction in the last sentence.

There are some gems in there.  On astral projection:

Quote
One of the reports states that Price was given the target coordinates by phone, that he mailed his response back to SRI, and that he took about 24 hours to begin writing his description of the area.  This leaves his performance about as solid as a chunk of Swiss cheese.

fishing for a compliment?
Your brain doesn't work.  You can't understand what people are saying to you, and your replies are often either meaningless, or entirely disconnected from the thread of the conversation.

You likely can't even process the above statement.

Attempting to communicate with you is not a useful exercise.

Is delegating revenge to a third party a common aspect of schizophrenia?

I'm wondering if comments like "i will have turned the state on petulant children like yourselves",  and "cops, jailbirds and the military gonna have a field day" have a parallel in LuciferX's Mongolian friend (also an ex-con, IIRC).

that one's going to pick up some monumental beatings when she does the same thing to a jailbird.

Saying that proves you're a creep.  I believe her side of the story, and I haven't even heard it.

That's cute, he thinks he's the only one whose ever read Robert Anton Wilson

have you lived the nightmare for years (after you've been through one already), oh virtue signaller?

We're so fucking WOKE that we cannot have dreams nor nightmares, we have trascended them, for us there is only the eternal gaze upon inferno while we lay in a bed of nails.

I haven't slept since 146 B.C.

If we had noobs appearing more regularly, I might be inclined to draft a taxonomy.  I've been here long enough to recognize there are repeating patterns, so it should be possible to define some categories.

And then, because humans, we could argue endlessly over which category a given noob should be assigned to, whether the original category definitions needed to be redefined, and even if the categorization approach itself was valid.

We did something very much like this in 2011.

There was also a checklist of behavior concerning "fighting the power", "Nigel and Howl are in charge of everyone's brains," and "SHAKE UP WEEPLE."

Evidence for time travel:  People from the past keep stealing my ideas.
