Im kind of a noob so I may be out of place in asking this but,
has this guy ever contributed ANYTHING to this site?

Have you?

eta: before anyone starts in, it's a facetious question.

I think that's a perfectly valid question.

I hope nobody asks me that question.

If you pathetically rip-off decades-old humor that wasn't funny when it was new, you might be a Discordian.

If you start out arguing about which Foxworthy T.V. show family was better and end up googling for naked pictures of Scott Baio, you might be a Discordian.

If you've ever wasted your time making up jokes for threads like this, you might be a Discordian.

If you're already prepared to eat your neighbors when the Oil Crash comes, you might be a Discordian.

-toa,
has plenty of time before the oil crash

Principia Discussion / Re: Discordian Derive

The derive always seemed like a bad idea to me.

Or maybe it's because I just watched Falling Down again and the scene where the two guys try to rob D-Fens is still fresh in my mind, trying to inspire i'm-not-a-rascist rascism (y'know, the kind based on fear instead of hate).

Either way, I'd like to see a Google Crime Map so I know where to "randomly" walk.

In this day of surveillance, archiving, Facebook/Google making private data public, and target marketing, can any of us afford to keep a name for longer than a single conversation/post?

We need more than just name generators. We need identity generators!

Vinyl records?

Ain't that, like, book-keeping for fetishists?

complaining about how ones weirdness is a burden in social interaction seems terribly 'high school' to me.

and upon further consideration complaining that complaining about how ones weirdness is a burden in social interaction seems terribly 'college' to me.

but, now, complaining that complaining about complaining about how ones weirdness is a burden in social interaction?  That indicates that i am now a normal fully mature adult.

I must be a senior citizen, cuz all I do is complain about you! :D

Do you know anything about me?

Since this is a philosophy thread, I have to ask if any of us can ever really know anything?

-toa,
needs to pay more attention

Mind you, I feel I should state I have nothing against Lady Gaga, I just don't understand the hype.  I've yet to hear a song from her that I thought was at all catchy, and that's what the worth of a musician is to me.

Music? THIS IS POMO!!

It's all about image. She's not selling records, she's selling a persona.

-toa,
has a poke-her face

Well, I'm not buying.

SOCIALIST!!! WHY DO YUO HATE AMERICAN POP CULTURE!??

Firstly, there is no such thing as a non-Penis bearing human.

What? I'm interpreting this as "Women ain't human" which I'm sure is wrong.
