That's exactly how I feel. It's not right for a woman to get repetitively knocked up and get continuous abortions. that's dumb, uneducated, and will probably cause health problems.

I dare you to find me one piece of evidence that any woman, anywhere, uses abortion as a repetitive form of birth control.

Not saying that there definitely is, because it would be wicked costly, but I'm sure I can dig up something.

It's about weighing your options and the circumstances at hand. Yes, a woman should have a right to do what she wants with her body without outside influence. I don't feel that the government or church should intervene. By taking away a woman's right to have an abortion, the risks of illegal, unsanitary, and downright dangerous attempts.

Crap, I know if someone told me that it was against the law to get an abortion even though a pregnancy could risk my life, I know I'd hitchhike my ass to Canada to get one.

I LOVE Pro-Lifers! I tell them flat out that I had a miscarriage at 4 months and that if I try to carry to term it will risk my life! Oh!!!! And that I had a friend who was raped and got pregnant, who gave birth, and ended up COMMITTING SUICIDE because the fact that this CHILD was the seed of her fucking rapist!

Don't forget the day I was ambushed at Planned Parenthood for going it to get treated for a UTI. Bwahaha, I threw bricks at them from a nearby pile until the security guard pulled me inside 'for my own safety.'

They're one of my all time favorite targets, along with PETA.

It's true, I've seen some trashy white folk who are no better. But I did here her conversation, and she was in fact bitching about collecting her "weeks". Which typically means unemployment, but who knows. I didn't feel that was initially relevant to my story.

I have great respect for people who, although they receive government aid, do their very best to support their family in trying circumstances. But when I see someone wearing a substantial amount of what I would consider to be needless name-brand or designer clothing, not caring for their kids, and carrying on a phone conversation about their financial situation, it irks me that my tax dollars couldn't go to something a little better, like education perhaps, so these people can get good jobs or learn not to reproduce at a young age.

Either way, it was wrong for me to judge, but I have a fucking grudge against the government for taking away my scholarship by 'impartial lottery' my last semester in college to put more aid into the welfare program. Granted Providence isn't NEARLY as bad as Florida, ie. the girl who gave birth in the bathroom in my high school and threw the baby out in the trash, or my friend who was married at 15 because she had twins and her uber-Christian parents couldn't stand to have a sinner in their house so they took her to Georgia with her boyfriend to wed so it was legal, as you can't marry that young in FL....

Yeah, I'm fucking bitter, and I'll shut up now.

Also, if you're going to try to get anything published you need thick skin because editors and publishers will tear you apart. If you think I'm being a dick try working for a magazine where the chief editor throws shit at people.

I worked as an intern for the NY Times. Please, I know the evils that are chief editors.

I'd also recommend staying away from self-publishing, most of them are scams. My goal for 2007 is to get my manuscript done and start sending it off to REAL publishers, even then, who the hell knows...
