I don't get offended by racial slurs, myself, but I have this white privilege crap that means nothing bad is likely to ever happen to me due to the kind of mentality that uses those words seriously.
But you called someone you don't know a racial slur.  It does not take a genius to understand why that is offensive, and not funny.
