So update on that dude I was talking about. I've been looking for a post that's worth ragging on, but I can't really find one? Like it seems like he's toned it down. I can't find a post of his that wouldn't fit in, well, HERE, TBH. I'm kinda hoping he's learned something rather than just gotten clever about how openly he can be a shitbag.

Welcome back, Person I'm Only Half Certain I Remember Interacting With!

so i'm half wanting to vent and half wanting some help with this. There's a dude i know through my Rocky Horror troupe, and i swear this guy is one red hat away from being a goddamn Nazi. His posts are a constant stream of the kind of cringy edgelord shit that was funny in middle school. I finally had to talk to him about keeping his Nazi jokes out of our RH group chat(which is basically a bunch of Rocky horror peeps posting memes about cheese) and he started pouting about how he should be able to make nazi jokes wherever he wants, and how Nazis aren't really a threat to anyone because the left just CALLS everyone they don't like a Nazi, and then just withdrew and kept making his shit jokes elsewhere. I'm wondering if its worth fucking with this guy or just blocking him from my social media life. One of my friends is his ex, says that hes always like this and this is exactly why she holds him in disdain, but the energy and possible intergroup drama this might cause might not be worth the headache. Thoughts?

less of a story and more a character concept or a scene.

A highly spiritual Shiaolin monk is attacked by a vampire, and after ingesting a large amount of his blood, the vampire unpleasantly discovers that since chi lives in the blood, and said monk has spent a lifetime mastering the manipulation of his own chi, that he has left himself highly vulnerable to the monk, via the Law of Sympathy. Hilarity ensues.

so its been a while since i mentioned what i'm up to on this place so here goes: was working with autistic?mentally handicapped adults, decided 15 bux an hour was way too little pay to get slapped around for no reason with little behavioral training, quit that to try my hand at doing Lyft full time while swearing to work on my podcast which i defied all expectation by ACTUALLY DOING, realized I had chosen to pursue full-time rideshare driving at the exact point in history where that's no longer a viable income source, and went crawling back to the mental health field to work with autistic children for 17 bux an hour. So a net gain, overall.

An Australian puppet makes jokes and commentary on greedy lawyers publishing Harper Lee's Go Set A Watchman just months before her death, even though she went decades of not wanting to publish anything.

lately I've been trying to write a short SF story about an effort to ease climate change by colonizing Earth like planets in order to ease the environmental strain on the earth, as well as preserve the species on planets that aren't on fire. The story follows the expedition of a ship of white supremacists, who were given a ship partly to get them to stop opposing the colonization effort in exchange for an all-white planet, and partly on the assumption that they'd fail and everyone else would be rid of them. They do, and we are.

is it just me or, for a couple of hundred could you have catered like, a shitton of smoked ribs and BBQ or something? hell for 1100 dollars, you can throw a frigging PARTY.

oh boy, CNO, you are in for a tale. I'll let these two tell it tho. * grabs a poncho, sits in the splash zone*

I also learned that one of my high school teachers (barely interacted with him on a teacher to student level, but interned in his classroom for a bit in junior year, and he seemed like a nice guy) got arrested for...well, this is a high school we're talking about, you can guess. :horrormirth:
yeah, my freshman health teacher, who i liked, got arrested for banging students - in his classroom no less. i wanna fight adults who do that to kids.
at my school it was the guy who taught cooking classes. I remember one of the girls in our class even had her suspicions before he was fired, cuz apparently he'd been ogling her pretty noticeably.
