I like the religious side of PD for the reasons mentioned previously.
Though, I do think the original went a bit overboard with it, so I'd say keep some of the religious stuff, but not all of it.

b]ale[/b] - i don't like it. i now know why Guinness (also an ale) disappoints me nearly every time i drink it. it tastes like flat beer. which is, probably, because it is flat beer. and not in a metaphorical sense, i'm pretty sure it's actual flat beer. they should just cool it and inject it with carbon dioxyde like normal beer. fortunately, pubs serve normal beer for pretty much this exact reason.

But then, there would be no use for the widget in the cans of Guinness, also I think it does have a bit of CO₂ in it anyways.

Well, the way I see it, I am trying to give the truth about the way society works (trying not to sound arrogant here). And personally I think the truth is more important than people's contentment. Also, the way I see it, we aren't trying to bring down the whole social order, we are just trying to, at least, make people realise how the order works, not just believe everything, to think for themselves, this, I believe, won't completely upset society. Also, by helping these people we are helping ourselves, as was noted earlier.

Sure I may be wrong, but it is the folly of humans to push your own beliefs onto other people, if only in your own mind. So I know that my freethinking makes me happy, so it should be the same for others.

Also, I enjoy making some kind of difference, or at least trying to. Just like those people who volunteer, they generally do it because it makes themselves fell good about themselves (or because of a court order).

I think that our O:Ms, memebombs, etc. could actually help some of those people who know of The Machine or BIP, in giving them ideas to copy our work.

That said, it is rather ineffective, and we do need another way of getting to these people.

That's not surprising, seeing as though many large companies have interests in many areas, and have so many deals with each other. Still, if it can be done, the map would be rather interesting.

On the AQ side, it would seem that they have an easier goal to achieve than the "free world". And their form of fighting doesn't really need a central base of operations anyway, at least not in a physical sense.

Reminded me of a New Scientist article I read a couple of months back that said our entire globalised system was too complex, and that by each separate part on the system relying so heavily on every other part, it is easy for a chain reaction to bring down the entire system.
