Title: Holy Name™ Thread, v3.0
Post by: The Good Reverend Roger on June 04, 2012, 07:59:02 pm
Okay, there's some new people here, and some of you old-timers have Holy Names™ that don't seem to be keeping you as Holy™ as they used to.  Post in this here fread, and get yourself a Holy Name™.  Since Faust and Triple Zero are horrible fucking apostates, the personal text option doesn't work, so you'll have to put your name in your signature file.  ON TOP.  Or burn in perdition forever.

Remember if you accept a Holy Name™ that wasn't assigned to you by myself or Zombie Payne, you have accepted a cheap Chinese knockoff that will do you NO GOOD AT ALL when you die.  And for those "do it yourself"ers, well, enjoy your eternity at the Department of Motor Vehicles, because that's where the fuck you're going...Leave this sort of shit to professionals.

Hustler
Had it, I believe you so vividly described it, "oozing out of every orifice" the other day.  (Incidentally, I need a new computer chair.)  I am, however, finding it difficult to find things to rant about.  I attribute this in some part to spending two months unemployed and not dealing with morons on a regular basis, but instead spending gobs of time doing shit people write in to. Hustler about on a regular basis with the new guy.  (Yes, just Hustler.  I'm breaking him in gently, he may be a keeper.)

Now that I am back to work with the exact same morons, and making with the funtime less often, I may find it again.

I love Turgid Horrormonkey of Delight with the passion of a hundred suns, but it sadly never bestowed any Holy. That said, my Holy has been on a definite waxing cycle as of late, and the name may simply need a re-baptism. Or a sacred Quest to reinstate its power.

The thing I've been getting from this forum in the way of advice on how to attract guys that aren't pre-neckbeard or as "a friend" is for me to go crazy.

I'm sure that doesn't look right...

"Psycho" does seem to be up there with "nice tits".

Ah, ok. I understand the discrepancy now. The crazy wicked hot girl syndrome.

There's a difference between a crazy smile with an ember or two behind the eyes and crazy eyes with crazy eyes and a crazy smile with crazy canines and more crazy eye oh god how does she have so many eyes?

So, here's the general progression for Desirability of Women (the reader is not necessarily excluded, because it changes so fucking much):

Hot
Srsly bro, how hot is she?
A little crazy.  "Good crazy." (WTF IS THIS.  HOORSESHIT.  PISS STAINED JUGS.  FUCK YOU.)
Not that much crazy.
A little more.
TOO MUCH!
NOT ENOUGH!
big tits
Nah, dude, I'm cool with smaller tits.
Not that small.
NOT THAT BIG.
Not that small!
I don't care what she looks like, as long as she's cool and smart.
Yeah, she's cool and smart, but she's not my type (READ: She's too fugly/fat/skinny/fat/skinny/nose is weird/FUCK YOU IN THE ASS, bro).

Women have the track record for this, but you guys (okay, not PD guys) make us look like shallow trophy hunters OH WAIT.

/peeve about media portrayal and subtext and shit.

It depends on the guy. My criteria are:

Does she make me happy or miserable?
Can I get it up (depends largely on happy factor)?
Do I have at least a few things in common with her?
Is she ok with me being overly talkative and fairly silent?
Can she usually understand what I'm on about even if she disagrees?

There are certain physical cues that I dig, of course, but the checklist above is my main barometer.

Villager makes me happy rather than miserable.
I've been with her for 2+ years, so...
She's a musician (hey, even same band) and a history major, and has a similar sense of humor, pun prone though she is. I also got her into Trek, so she's diggin' the sci-fi now as opposed to just the horror movies she was raised on. We always have something to talk about.
She likes it when I talk, but likewise is cool if I just sit there.
She does know what my point of view is, even if she disagrees with it.

Physical cues: curly brunette hair, near-sighted, not anorexic, mischievous smile, blue eyes (it should be noted that my physical cues vary wildly, but generally come in predictable combinations).

Mostly this spaggotry is stemming from an apparent lack of decent males in the Tucson area, and me being angry about it.

My list of requirements:
Morals
Brain
Dick
Time

Shapes and colors vary wildly, but obesity is generally a turn off.  Smaller details can be applied as they come up.

Interesting conversation.

Personality (all on equal standing):
Comfortable with herself. Comfortable with others. Honest. Sense of (mutual) humor.
Actually, that last one ... us laughing at the same things could possibly be the hottest thing for me. Not more important than the others, but a huge turn-on.

Looks:
Facial beauty has a much more significant effect on my attraction than bodily features. A skinny girl is less attractive to me than a full-bodied girl (and I'm a pretty skinny guy...). Often, an interesting-looking girl will be more attractive to me than a typically pretty face. Other than that I probably have typical attractors in terms of bodily proportion.

Orgasm Toad, out.

They come to me in a trance state that is brought on by the intense stupidity of the people surrounding me.  Mike the Engineer & Filthy Assistant create more Holy™ per day than the pope of Rome and any number of his filthy & depraved priests.

However, I am assured by Mr Wiggly that they are in fact Holy™ as all get out, and I've heard no objections from Payne.
