I take a shit mostly FOR the side effects.   :lulz:

how I read that.

That, too.  Do you have any idea what my diet does to the quality of my airbeefs?

Unless I missed a memo, anyway.

"Billy, when I say that ethics is our number one priority and safety is also our number one priority, you should take that to mean exactly what I said. Also quality. That's our number one priority as well. Don't look at me that way, you're in the corporate world now and this is how it works."

While healthy eating is important, sugary foods aren't actually linked to hyperactivity unless the child or whoever is watching the child believes that the child has consumed sugary things.

It's another one of those myths that people cling to in spite of the evidence, like your head releasing most of your body heat.

I can't wait to destroy the tryptophan in turkey makes you sleepy bollocks that I hear every thanksgiving.

Some people can't stand the alternative: it was your false belief and expectations that created actual hyperactivity in your children after candy, actual feelings of being more chilly without a hat, and actual drowsiness from the turkey.

But then again, a lot of people can't even handle the Law of Fives, so why would they be able to deal with the much stranger realm of expectancy effects and suggestion?

... Perhaps because I don't expect them to be.  Or maybe they're just old, or dumb, or both.

Endlessly fascinating, though. LOL, evidence.

I don't understand how anyone could believe that sugar doesn't make a person hyper.

I get jumpy and giggly after a single piece of fucking birthday cake.
