Some while back (I forget an even estimate of how long ago) I stopped watching the news. Why? Because it depressed me so much. Hearing stories about all the natural disasters, atrocities committed by man against man, and just all the general misery, misfortune, and unhappiness in the world just completely turned me off from watching the news.

Recently, I've been reading a few news stories, just to pass the time.

Jesus Christ, real news is now more hilarious to me than Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert ever was.

Thanks to Discordianism, rather than watching the news and going to bed depressed about all the shit happening in the world, I can watch the news and go to bed with a few laughs tucked under my belt for the day.
