My father, grandfather and I served. My middle son also served - together we put in over 60 years - I have seen what becomes of difficult situations or people of low principles Situations can change with the wind. Most of the people that want to be in the service are there because they want to get a career – job security, and a value of pride in knowing your uniform and acts mean something. It is very easy for pundits or people that have fringe beliefs to make choices and force them the public. We at the same time who have served or serve know that it is not our duty to judge – only follow orders. This service today is a volunteer group of young men and women. They are our next and best greatest generation to come. How can you decide that it is up to lawmakers to force something so difficult to police such as this change with allowing homosexuals to serve. I would not nor never disagree a person should be allowed to serve if they have a simple weakness such a this form of expression but that weakness become one more tool that breaks down the good order and discipline for survival. I have seen both sexual preferences (male or female lovers of the same sex) work in isolated locations and do just as well as the accepted love style but once the factor of sexual preference becomes a known the moral breaks down – order is no longer kept and life is placed in jeopardy. Sometimes it is the homosexuals or it can be the other way around. Let us face a reality. We have to treat all people equally but would you want someone that announces and exhibits their sexual preference to serve with your child in an isolated incidence or would you want a person that keeps the fact of what they like to do in the bedroom a private matter. I asked my son to get out of the service and he is – He is very proud of the things he did just like me but when politicians cloud the waters by not signing a book such as the Code of Conduct because they secret are violating the very same rules the subordinates MUST enforce there is something wrong. For eight year under one president, we had people breaking laws while in the service, all because their Commander in Chief could get away with it. Now a law is to be imposing to tell people "you will serve and not let the issue of sexual preference bother you". The fact is some can do it but there will be people that no matter which side of the fence they wag their tail cannot. The truth will come out or divisions will create at the mess-deck table even more. I have seen gangs of lesbians room ships looking for a person they fancied and once they almost had the net set the females that were squared away had to side up with a male partner. In some cases because of the closeness they formed relationships (she for protection and he because of the gender desire) the results was either the young 17 year old girl joined the ball teal and became part of the lust circle or the girl became pregnant to get off the ship. This stuff goes on without any CO ever being able to stay on top of it. The Chiefs are doing all they can but when the ship becomes a floating world life must go on.
To believe this cannot affect the good order and safety of those serving is as stupid as saying we are helping the world by spreading democracy and they are not in a holy war. A dead service man is still a dead service man. I hope ever parent goes to their politicians and begs them to stop this liberal Hollywood deviate tasking agenda. We need our sanity back in this country.

By this logic, military service people should not be allowed to have sort of sexual contact whatsoever. Well, except one day a year, in which they may have a massive bisexual orgy. Maybe this guy's on to something...

And it isn't just limited to the 'enemy' any local nationals that work on the installations are talked about as if they are all secret fags and thus are lesser than the mighty American soldiers who beat off to illegal porn.
About the truck drivers,  "Not only do you have make sure they don't just make off with the truck and it's cargo, or take a break randomly, but they are all gay"
I escorted a lot of crap up and down Kuwait, and unless it is super duper secret important military hardware, or going through scary parts of Iraq, they use contracted labor and civilian semis to do the hauling. So I heard a lot of bad talk about the drivers, and not much I could do the stop it.

I believe this is a result of cultural differences. To Arabs American soldiers appear to be catamites, because they are clean shaven and the way in which they groom.  So the Arabs hit on our soldiers a lot.
