I'd like to apologize for dumping on Lies' thread concerning George Lucas, and for dumping on the participants of that thread. 

I felt, and still feel, that the topic of the thread belonged on E-Tainment, or whatever the hell that show is called, and I felt and still feel that it causes brain damage...

...HOWEVER, I also realize that people - for reasons completely lost on me - may enjoy that shit, and that's exactly why Apple Talk is here.  So I was out of line, and I'm sorry.

To be fair, many of the pop culture references here are made as jokes, criticisms, or mockery.  There are very, very few posts that treat them as sacred cows, or "reality", or something to aspire to.

After all, we can't ignore the fact that we're swimming through a cesspool, as disgusting as it may be.

This is my third attempt at an answer.  I think I should just say, "It's ok, no harm no foul."  I really don't think an apology, to me anyway, is necessary, though I did a mini-flounce.  I'd try to post more "content-worthy" posts lately, but shit's a bit too heavy now IRL and I just can't arse myself. :(
