And now I'm home.

On the up side, I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life... I chose to be fearless and play, rather than hide safely in my little world... in return I got to have an awesome week in an amazing country and got to hang out with that crazy Purple Eris.

On the down side, when I got home Sjaantze, Harbinger of Distraction and I broke up after 10 years (9 years of awesome, 1 year of falling apart). It is rough, but it is better I think to break up now while we are still friends than to wait for the fights and arguments that we've been narrowly avoiding for the past six months. I suppose in some sense, my week in Turkey was me running away from the inevitable, or maybe just taking some time for myself to think about what the inevitable was.

An amazing trip, with a sad ending... yet somehow it feels kind of balancing.

I wonder what happens next?

Sorry to hear about the breakup, glad it wasn't a total shitfest and you can still get along, it's better that way if you can manage it.

I like the Luna one. She is a good one.

It does suck, because 10 years makes for a comfortable existence... but life is constantly on the move and changes are inevitable. We probably should have done this a year ago, but were too scared, or deluded... or whatever.

I will miss her, but I will still have her as a friend and that is OK.
