They did play the Chattahoochee song the other day and he got all excited and turned it up so we could both sing like idiots.

This makes me want to harpoon a school bus.

You have made me very, very sad.

TGRR,
Hates that song like Martin Bormann wrote it.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

I figured out that I can surf the PeeDeez while making dinner and solving chemistry equations, if I sort of alternate between the three. I don't know if this is going to work long-term, but so far so good.

In my capacity as this board's country music expert, I am hereby declaring that the only country song worth a shit since 2010 has been Lady Gaga's You and I.  I have apparently fallen through some sort of wormhole.

And here I thought country music hasn't been worth a shit since the 1970s. I've been having this argument with the husband. Apparently he's trying to convince me that good songs still come out, but I don't believe him. The damn station he listens to plays the same three songs all day long and it drives me fucking crazy. They did play the Chattahoochee song the other day and he got all excited and turned it up so we could both sing like idiots. That was at least worth it.

Edit: You're right, this song is fucking awesome.

1970s country was fucking TERRIBLE.  Charlie Pride and that FUCKING Conway Twitty.

Johnny Cash was the only listenable country music for 15 fucking years, and it killed him.

Willie Nelson. Shut up.

The Good Reverend Roger

I feel very confident that my company will not burn me up at both ends and then huff my scorched remains like bad crank.

No, really.

I'm talking 1965-1979 for the sucky part.  Because 1979 led to Merle Haggard.  In fact, if you subtract that fat slug Williams Jr, the 80s was THE decade for country music.

Fucking Minecraft.
I turned it on planning to play an hour at most, as I have a hella lot of stuff to get done, but no....
4 hours later I suddenly realize I haven't had anything to drink or eat since breakfast, then notice the time.

I haven't had a game pull me in so much in a very long time. And it's such a simple thing, it's not like I got lost in story or something.
I need to start setting an alarm so I don't waste the day again.

And now it's time to get off the computer and try and get something done before people start coming home :/

I uninstalled it when school started two terms ago. Haven't reinstalled it yet. I'm tempted to do so over the summer since I won't have classes, but then again...
We have it on the 360. Mainly because we found it used and on sale. Husband was willing to pay 15 dollars for what he considers a stupid game, but not the 27 that the PC version costs.

But it's still fun even if I have to just have vanilla Minecraft.
