So, me getting the kittens was probably the best thing I could have done for my mental health. I've been in a state of recovery ever since, and while I'm not perfect, I'm entertaining ideas of starting my own business, which is just making and selling teas, which is simple enough. I am aware that that is not all that'll be required of me, but I'm still working on logistics anyway, so whatever.

That's really awesome!

Thanks, though the birthday on my FB profile is fake.

But then, the Queen can have two birthdays, so I can as well.

My parents went to Rome on a United flight and now Trump is there.  I'm waiting to see if they'll end up in the news somehow.

For $49 I can buy an Alexa Dot and have it call up my congressman and  hurl abuse on him on command.

Already ordered it.

I just got a couple when the refurbs went on sale.

I think you can use this:  https://ifttt.com/connect/amazon_alexa/phone_call  and then some sort of random insult generator attached.

I'm grading quizzes and holy shit I have no idea what happened while I was gone, but apparently it wasn't learning digestive anatomy. At all.

The hard part is the dissection. They didn't even have to DO it; just LOOK at it. I am taking it from their quiz scores that they did not.

I have spent way too much time dealing with and touching a dead guy's balls today. I have a feeling the next class is also going to demand a lot of guided tours through his balls.

Alexa project so far: Calendar and to do function is nice.  Just set it up to receive and make phone calls, but cannot get it to select an individual device.  Both devices "ring" when calling it.  Was attempting an intercom setup, but it's more like calling your own landline.
