Yes, it's time to muster with our old brothers in arms, and fight the good fight once again!

I know it appears to be a very minor issue, but it occurred to me that, this time around, we really need to refer to ourselves with some unassailable labels. I do believe, and will continue to preach, "An ounce of image is worth a pound of performance."

And, I'm writing this because it didn't feel to me like our previous "Antifa" label really did us much good. First of all, I suspect that attaching the prefix "anti" to our label automatically produced a negative response in a lot of people. Second, many of the people we're trying to influence don't even know what the word "fascism" even means. And last, it appears to me that "Antifa" has already been largely forgotten. So, this time around, I feel we need to mimic what the Republicult™ does, and put words like "freedom," "liberty," "truth," etc. in our own labels.

Right now, I'm spitballing along the lines of, "The Truth, Justice, and the American Way League." That phrase isn't copyrighted, by the way, but I think we should  be able to come up with something(s) just as good, if not better.

So, any suggestions?

The purchase acquires the company's intellectual property, including its website, customer lists and inventory and certain social media accounts, as well as the production equipment used to put Jones on the air. The amount of the bid was not announced.

I'm expecting Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (DJT) to just be a series of pumps and dumps for the next 4 years and possibly beyond. He sold the hotel, so it seems to be the main avenue for people to curry his favor, financially.

In fact, I'd say that is probably the sole purpose for its existence.

I also expect certain members of the administration (Musk) to be actively manipulating crypto in a similar fashion.

Resist all you like, nobody will care.

The rules changed, and nobody seems to have noticed.  Trump and his cronies don't care about the forms of law, because he has already proven to his own satisfaction that laws don't apply to him.

There is no peaceful way to dislodge him, and our nation at this point cannot survive a civil war.  I do not say "win or lose," I say "Cannot maintain vital services and remain a functional political entity."

Cities have enough food in them for 18 hours.  And isolating cities is painfully simple.

For example, if you were to blow the bridge above the I90 passing under Indiana 80 and tear up 100 meters of track to the North, you cut the country in half unless Denver and the tracks heading East remain intact (good luck).  If the Eisenhower cutoff is also blown, you can't bring food into the metro area fast enough, even at starvation rations, to break even.

All those people aren't going to sit and starve quietly.  No, they will head East into the rest of Chicagoland under the mistaken impression that there will be food there.

Almost every city has an achilles heel like this.

The moment a proper insurrection begins, our cities turn into roaming mobs of starvation-desperate people.

So there is neither a peaceful way out nor a violent one.

There is no resistance.  The time for that was the last 6 months and, unhappily, 14 million people thought it wasn't worth it because of <insert niche issue here>.

The whole country is dumb as fuck and now we're all going to get the government we deserve.  Good & hard.

I think you're right about DJT.

I have no intention in ever investing in crypto, so I don't pay attention to it. But, you're probably right about about the oligarchs manipulating it.

I also skimmed an article on a financial site today about Elmo actively working to kill the existing federal Electric Vehicle tax credit. I haven't had time to research this issue in detail, but I got the impression that Elmo thinks it will hurt his competition more than it will hurt Tesla. Again, I have yet to researched this in detail.

I'm not surprised someone else also used the name "Resistance 2.0." It's not a case of "great minds think alike." It's "adding 2.0 was low hanging fruit."

I don't have a crystal ball, but I don't believe we'll have to wait too, too long before the market takes a major hit. And, by major hit, I mean way more than a typical 10% plus stock market correction.

It's my opinion that most of the popularly traded stocks on the market are grossly overvalued. And, unfortunately, stocks that are not grossly overvalued will take that major hit along with everything else. For what it's worth, I'm almost completely out of the stock market already. But, I freely admit, at my age I am risk adverse.
