This is a page for possible/impossible covers for the book.
I am currently unaware of the size of the book, so full cover measurements including bleed area would be a handy addition to this page.
Currently can't upload files to the wiki! --Rev. St. Syn, KSC 08:23, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Forget it, I'll link to photobucket, duh. ;) --Rev. St. Syn, KSC 08:29, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
- I like the first one. The second one, not so much. Do you think you could perhaps work in the ampersand-ligature idea I had, because I think that would work better with your design than with my drawing/sketch.

- Nice. I agree that the third one along is the most interesting one. Can you find out what the font is?

The pages are 11 x 8.5 inches folded in half. So each page is 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
I like all of them, btw.

Thanks Net, I'll try to get the cover sized properly in the next iteration. You reckon a quarter inch bleed to a side? (EDIT: Net, are you aware that isn't a size that Lulu print? http://www.lulu.com/us/help/paperback_printspecs )
Meanwhile, this is version 6:
I am aware now! Yeah, it looks like Lulu requires a hefty .25 inch bleed, I can shoop a bleed if I have to but it's probably easier for you to do it. For the final version of the cover (not yet), could you put a PNG and the native file preserving all layers in a folder and MIHD it to me? This way I'll have quick alternatives if Lulu has issues with the files.

Since I don't have better things to do, I played with your cover design. Been feeling inspired lately. I'm really enjoying your Fnord dingbats, especially bigass jumbled piles of them. (TOA helped you with those? Man they're fucking awesome...)
If you have photoshop I can post the PSD file with all the layers intact should you want to further build on this.

Hi, Net
toa did all the hard work and, along with nurb, I supplied a few of the dings. Group effort. :) As I said in the layout section; I love the dingsplosions, but not that keen on the inverting/colourisation. I was hoping to keep it looking well used and scribbled and stamped on without getting psychedelic. ;) Just my thoughts!
I'm still working on a clean background for this, so will post it up when it's finished.
