Introduction
On this Dream Walk, you will venture through a portal to the realm of Faerie. Dangerous monsters dwell there, who have a number of Fae trapped beneath the surface. If you can reach the abattoir, you will be able to rescue two of the Fae and bring them back to the Dreaming.
This Dream Walk is ideal for people that
- want to rescue the unfortunate Fae who are still trapped on Faerie, or
- wish to open channels for monsters to enter the Dreaming
Requirements: At least six people, one of which must be a Fae. Everybody needs boffer weapons.
One scene will require an area where you can mark "jump stones" on the ground. See Scene 2 for details.
Props: two small boxes or containers. X props to represent keys, where X is the number of PCs on the module x 2. (do not count Shades)
Guides: 1/3rd (rounded up) of the players on this Dream Walk will be Guides.
Leader: One party member, preferably a Fae, will be designated the party leader. The leader will have special instructions to introduce each scene.
Scene 1
Instructions for Guides:
Hang out. :) You don't have anything to do in this scene. If you'd like, you can play your regular character, but you should give everybody a reason why you aren't coming on the Dream Walk.
Leader: In this scene, you'll explain to everybody what path you'll be taking. To enter faerie, you'll need to lead everybody through a door, archway, or gate. On the other side, there will be a battle going on, so the area you pick should have a place where you can fight next to it.
You expect that there is a lieutenant of the void which you must face. Do your best to prepare your party for that battle.
Scene 2
Setting: the portal
Instructions for Guides:
On the far side of the gate, identify three spots which will be respawn points. Each point should be at least 20-30 feet apart. During this scene, you may respawn on any of these points by touching it and saying "I rift in 1, I rift in 2, I rift in 3".
You have one life for each PC in the party. You have the following stats:

When you die, go respawn immediately. After all the guides have lost their lives, there will be a five minute break.
Scene 3
Repeat scene 2, but with two lives per party member.
Once all the lives are gone, the Goblin King emerges:

Scene 4
Guides: Two of you will play Fae who are being rescued from Faerie. You have one hit point and no skills. Come on-stage and thank everybody for rescuing you from the Goblin King. If they lead you back to the Dreaming successfully, you may choose to continue playing those characters for the rest of the day.
When this Dream Walk is archived, make sure to include the names of the two Fae you've rescued! A big group picture with the refugees is a great photo to include in the Archive.
