Think for Yourself, Schmuck! / Re: Some of Them Knew They were Robots

Maybe I'm wrong about all of this, but from my perspective, the best way to force freedom upon people is not enlightening them to the fact that they're robots, but instead making it more difficult to be one. Things like GASM are the best step I've seen in this direction, at least from this particular community.

I agree, there are already enough artists, bands, writers, etc. telling society that they are robots, so I'm fairly certain that one more group telling them won't make a difference. But if we can make it easier to break out of their robot state, then we will probably make some difference. Even if it is just changing people who are aware that they are robots, but can't be bothered to do anything about it.

And here I thought my days (okay, months) at Uncyclopedia were wasted. Well, they were wasted, but at least I'm familiar with wikicode.

I seem to remember Uncyclopedia having a small CYOA, except pretty much every choice ended with you being eaten by a grue.

Anyways, I would be up for a bit writing, though the quality may be questionable.

Heh, this could be fun,
Though it could be slightly more expensive, or possibly illegal, you could replace the contents of boxes of fortune cookies at supermarkets.

Also, reminds of Ross Noble, where he once said his fortune was, "You have AIDS"

Buzz Week, how'd it work out?

Being on the other side of the planet I can't really tell.

Worth attempting in Australia and other places?

We're still seeing new uses and potentials all the time, too - not just in warfare but in art (viral marketing, laser graffiti that can take web-submissions)

Really though, in 5GW all these art ideas can be adopted quite readily to warfare purposes. If one can make a populous question its government, then it makes winning the war, and the transition of power, much easier, ie. such ideas could probably have saved the Iraq invasion from its current stalemate.
