Got my flu shot.
Now I have autism.

Getting mine tomorrow.  It's that or wear a mask all winter.

Apparently they have nasal, transdermal, AND preservative free options, but I'd have to head up to the hospital from the laundry facilities. Just plain old mercuric preservatives and a big 'ol scary needle for us laundry folk.

I've had a few over the last couple years now and haven't noticed any brain dablage whatsoever.

I put it in my calendar to get mine last Tuesday, but I forgot and guess what? Now I have a splitting headache and a fever.

Nope.  It's used for a new treatment on our product.  Hot stuff, apparently, but I don't understand the chemistry yet.  I sort of learn this shit as I go along.

This kills me, see...Our safety guy worries about inconsequential shit, trying to make himself look useful, instead of just BEING useful.  So I have to write all the procedures, etc.

Also, the safety guy tried to rat me out on the ethics hotline (he seems to be after my job), claiming I was abusing the sick time rules...I was in LA on actual business (of a sort, anyway, but it was official).  I just didn't see fit to tell him where I was going, because it's none of his fucking business.  Then he started ratting my guys out for vaping in non-smoking areas (which was a thing we were ignoring, and now we can't).

For some reason, this plant attracts two kinds of safety tech:  weasels and drunks.

Anyway, then the silly bastard took a week of vacation, which the guys are using to form plots to make the stupid bastard miserable until he quits.

Naw, he just didn't do the shit he was supposed to do.  He fucked off and left some EPA inspections undone.  Fortunately, the lab boss noticed that it wasn't done and did it, so we didn't wind up with ADEQ up our asses.
