It's a bit confrontational for my tastes. When getting people to realize they've stagnated, I usually go for a sort of wistful remember-the-good-old-days kind of feel.

If its too "confrontational" for you, you probably aren't the type of person this type of forum was intended for.

Hell since most rants are printed out and posted someplace for people to stumble upon and read using them in that fashion seems a little more passive aggressive then confrontational.

Advertisng works off emotions.  It doesn't really matter what emotions, so long as they are invoked.  You have apathy, or interest.  Nothing else matters.

The problem I've encountered with a lot of really confrontational guerilla philosophy is that a lot of people don't want to be preached at by some homeless genderqueer who dresses like an effeminate Road Warrior reject.
