@OP: These fucktards called 'missionaries for the unborn' come round my university once every 2 years or so, and they hold up their big dead fetus signs, all standing across the street from the elementary catholic school, where all the little children can see them at recess. And they have their own children run around and hand out pamphlets with more pictures. And they yell at the top of their lungs too.

Im of the opinion that protesting never does anything but polarize the debate, gets people that have nothing to do with anything involved, and generaly doesnt do anyone any good
(unless your living under some totalitarian regime and you have no other option)
and using the little kids to do your dirty work really pisses me off
if you have pamphlet come give it to me yourself like an adult
so i could rip it up and throw it in your face

i like kids and it pisses me off when adults bring them into an adult world, which they can't objectivally comprehend at this point of their life

its assholes like that which make any debate on the issue impossible
and i do think there is some legitimate questions about life which have to be answered...
but it requires dickheads like that to come off their ivory tower and be able to reationize and admit the answer to these issues probably are somewhere in the middle of the debate
maybe i think this cause im not fully "pro-life", but im not "pro-choice"
at this point im probably more "pro-life" then choice though - but I could admit there are always exceptions

protesting does nothing to help anything
all it does is make them look like idiots, gets inocent people caught up in the debate, and creates a crusader atmosphere where people can not think rationaly - ie. whats happened to Rev whats his name and his wife  (I hope she's holding up)

It really is the equivalent of using people for human shields.

They use children in these protests as a sort of shield. 

Most people wouldn't start having a confrontational debate with these children.  It wouldn't seem right.  And the adults know that. 

Meanwhile the poor kids brain is getting scrambled.

RWHN is right.  People spit out kids and then use them as extensions of themselves.  Treat them no better than dogs.  And then brainwash them into thinking this is all ok.

I'm stern with my kids, but I won't be making them vote a certain way, think that they have to "accept" this premade, prefab'd, plasticated premise about baby jesus swinging from the rearview mirror.  No matter how much my Bible-thumping relatives want me to.
