Basically, we're getting totally fucked over.

In London, its not so bad.  As Lizzie or any Londoners here will tell you, the public transport within the city is excellent and almost beyond reproach.  But outside of London, without a car, you are fucked.  Which is kind of the problem, since I am outside of London with no car.
