nice work Syn!

did you use some kind of standard colour palette for the coloured one?

because otherwise i'd go for a 24bit png version and add some light shading (can be done with custom index 256c as well, doesn't really matter for such small images)

Yeah, for a bigger one maybe. For this I just picked some colours and kept it minimal and basic as PNGs don't work in all browsers.
