I had to look up that oireachtas.

Jenne ~> learned something new today.

Ireland prefers Irish language equivalents for political office
Taoiseach= Prime Minister
Uachtaran= President (Oh shit, the election is TODAY!!!!)
Oireachtas= Parliament
Seanad= Senate  :|
Dáil=Lower House of the Oireachtas

Also, I chose that background for a reason. That's the town my grandfather lives in.

I'm technically standing on the place where my sister and I went out for some green tea to get out of the house on Friday.

It's cute.  But then I seem to think most things over in that area of the earth are cute.  Building-wise anyway.

I imagine their penchant for pastel colored buildings is to combat the ubiquitous grey and green. You do get good flashes of yellow on the hills from furze bushes in the spring though.

I find the area refreshing.  A little awe-inspiring. And most definitely eerie when the sun goes down. It gets dark as fuck there. Clifden has a population of about 1300. Which includes outlying areas that aren't part of the town square area.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE rolling green hills.  Scotland was a verdant wonderland for me when I was there all those years ago.

I hate hate hate the brown-n-dusty green of the CA deserts.  AZ deserts with their red-brown are ok...but I despise the CA deserts.  Scrubby, monochromatic anti-wonders, they are to me.

Luckily, I can afford to be picky about my scenery.

I'm not a big fan of the sun, other than it is a nuclear inferno that makes life on this planet temporarily possible. I like grey skies. I like verdant hills. Much as I love Boston, I know instinctively that I want to spend my latter years there. I might well die in Ireland. Which wouldn't be a bad thing. It calls to me. I would move there now, except I love Boston too much.

I guess on FB you can't say:

YOU WANNA FUCK A DINOSAUR?  THEN YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

I may want to ride a Stegosaurus, but I don't want to "ride" a Stegosaurus.

Twid,
likes boobiss. Human boobiss.

Did Bieber actually make that Cobain comment?

Does that mean I can expect him to become a junky and blow his brains out?
