TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

The Subconscious Art Of Graffiti Removal

A short film which I thought might inspire here.

It's a satire that many people I've shown do not understand and usually reject it outright as "boring". Claiming that graffiti removal techniques are actually a new wave of modern art, the short goes on to explain that this is a direct consequence of our societal repression of aesthetic form within a functionally industrial urban landscape.

Unfortunately I can't find the clip on youtube anymore so it's going to have to be myspace video.  It's not the full film - only around a third of it. I don't know where you can see the full thing apart from on the DVD - Resfest Shorts: Volume 3.

Oh, and for the sake of throwing in another (but completely unrelated) Resfest short: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JMvO7T5OpCs

It may be satire, but its also interesting as seriousness as well.

Just another way to look at the universe. I DID like the comparison between early 20th century modern art and the topic matter; the similarities are pretty obvious.
One by one, we break the sheep from their Iron Bar Prisons and expand their imaginations, make them think for themselves. In turn, they break more from their prisons. Eventually, critical mass is reached. Our key word: Resolve. Evangelize with compassion and determination. And realize that there will be few in the beginning. We are hand picking our successors. They are the future of Discordianism. Let us guide our future with intelligence.
