The basic story takes place in "Steampunk tiem" where a young and brash inventor is creating all sorts of cool AI.

Of course, he's really harvesting the spark of life from animals, humans etc and sticking them in his "AI" creations... but there's nothing wrong with that...

Live Action Role Playing, I believe.

Yep and it covers a wide array of gaming systems, from the guys that throw bean bags and yell "Fireball" to the goths that dress in black and "Rock Paper Scissor" each other like horny vampires... to giant Elder God props for Cthulhu.

Mostly our local group plays Cthulhu, sometimes Vampire... never the bean bag bit.
