First rule of zombie survival, have a dozen or so place you know where you can find weapons food and and a defensible position.

This is harder than it sounds, I only know one so far.
Inflatable dolls are not recognized flotation devices.

i just finished reading rising and dead city by Brian keen .. not bad books typical zombie fair constant running around being over run by zombies . the most interesting twist on the classic zombie storyline is the body's are being inhabited(there brains - must have head shots) by demons from the void and they are out to ruin gods creation , the other interesting twist is the animal and bird zombies( like resident evil) and the fact that the zombies have a leader and can shoot guns and organize armies...
