Seeing the fnords....

I think I'm starting to see the fnords and, to be honest am finding it a fairly disturbing experience...just came along without warning today......anyone out there have any advice or been there in recent memory?

If you recall, the fnords are there to create a base state of anxiety in the population, making them more compliant and consumeristic.

Most of us here now consider them to be funny.

As you get more familiar with this board, you'll notice that we try to restrain our so-called "enlightenment" with the obvious fact that we're still nothing more than a gang of shit-throwing monkeys.  That's sort of what Payne and RWHN were getting at.
