Ok so I think I have been here long enough to throw in a poem for you to read so here is my Death of an Atheist

Death the lingering darkness,
How subtle yet fast it comes,
We can not escape fate,
Death in the end will win.

There is hope however,
Be you Atheist or not,
Find reassurance in immortality,
For you will live forever.

When death takes you,
Earth and you will become one,
You and the earth will spawn new life,
Together you will grow into tomorrow.

Now look to the sky,
See the stars shine,
One day that will be us,
Shining for all to see.

Our atoms were created in the stars,
We are all made of stardust,
The old ancient star that went nova,
Created the world we live in.

Many many years from now,
Long after we are dead and gone,
We will be engulfed in a new nova,
And together we will form a new Star.

This is how we achieve immortality,
We are part of an endless cycle,
Years from now on a distant planet,
They will discover us shining bright.

This is cool. I think this kind of immortality is an interesting inversion of the old idea of immortality. Usually people think the body is shit but the "soul" is immortal and perfect. But this way, it's the body that's actually immortal (though in a different sense I guess), and the soul is unnecessary.

It's very pretty, but your cosmology needs brushing up.  We did come from a supernova at some point, but we will never go back to being a stellar object.  You only get the one shot at that.

Well.

Eventually a black hole will gobble your by then disparate mass all up and goodness knows what will happen to you then.  There's probably a dreadfully good poem in it I'll wager.
