PD.com happened to this thread.

What a bunch of fuckshits. Let's ban them from the internet.

If you build it, they will come.

Hell yeah... the domain exists, I've got the server space and can handle setting up DNS/email etc.

If someone wants to manage the content etc on a daily/weekly/whatever basis, I'll cover the tech stuff.

On a related note, I thought maybe a couple trusted people from here (perhaps Ratatosk if he hosts it and Cramulus because he started it?) could have the password to the intermittens email addy.  And naturally whoever is the current editor could have the password.  I think if too many people have the email password, it could create a problem, something like trying to keep your business secure when 50 people have a key to the front door.  And it could create a lot of chaos.  Of course that might be fun too.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

What if five people had the password, and there was a special thread for submissions by email?

Anyone who remembered to check would post letters and submissions in that thread, and the current editors would check the thread for material.

Cain

Its a good idea.  We should also make clear in an issue that people can, you know, put together their own issues as well.

LMNO

Do the previous intermittens issues have contact info?

Cain

I think they had the URL, thats all.

Sounds like fun to me... I'll set up a virtual server today and then whoever owns that DNS can point it at the IP :)

this just made me LOL.

cause, technically, it is. in a way. and that's kinda funny to talk about.

you should hang a sign in that bar "NO ENTRANCE FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT ACTUALLY HERE--PHYSICAL PRESENCE MANDATORY"

Virtual Server for Intermittens.org exists... domain owner will need to point the DNS at it and then whoever would like to work on the site can ask for access :)

If anyone wants to own intermittens.org from a content etc perspective, that's fine... just cause it's on my server doesn't mean I expect any control ;-)

Anyone want to build a better template... go for it.

I'd like to see this: http://www.principiadiscordia.com/blog/feed/

in a sidebar, or a rotating 5 post-headlines, or something. I'll look into that, try to find some WP stuff.
