Why American Idol was one of the stupidest things to happen to the music industry.

Somehow I missed the connection between Shania Twain and American Idol.

I'm so sorry.

As I'm from the country that dreamed up that never ending shit I feel our collective desire to destroy it. We mock it, we attack it, we stop watching it, and yet it does not die!
Its like the meca-troll, god of the trolls of trollophile, a land beyond the intranets.

Aside from being the king of beavers he is also impervious to bullets, nuclear war heads and constant bombardment with Paris Hilton.

I don't really understand the problem. Just don't watch it?
Occasionally it produces some shitty pop music, but the industry would be doing that anyway. The songs are already written -- the saps they find through American Idol are being hired to sing. That's all. If not them, it would almost certainly be somebody else.

I can turn off the radio, I cannot stop the endless convosations short of getting the shotgun.

This is why firearms should not be your primary weapon in a zombie apocalypse.  (nevermind that zombies already exist--it's just that the contagion is memetical and the host doesn't quit its day job)

Get a melee weapon, one you can use untrained.
