For my part, I've replaced optimism and believing the best of people by default with a grin and the absolute 100% certainty that if they cannot find a pig to fuck, they will buy some bacon and play oinking noises on YouTube.

I'd never heard of Amanda Palmer until really recently, when I clicked a link to her "Map of Tasmania". She's like a 3 way blend of Kate Bush, Tori Amos, with a bit of Peaches.

:lulz: What the fuck is this?

Something I remembered from my highschool days listening to college radio. Specifically, I was looking for track 11, "Crack Pipe (Burnin')", Which I, for some reason,  thought was a Tracy Chapman song.

In other words, it's an album that Southern hipster kids (we call them art fags round hurr) would brag about having on vinyl way back in the day (they probably still do), and the fact that I only found out it wasn't a Tracy Chapman song in my late 30's demonstrates what an incredible Poseur I was (still am).

Lustmord - Destruction
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMGzqM7_AKQ
From the "Rising (06.06.06)" album
The first Lustmord performance in 25 years. Recorded live at The Center for Inquiry, Los Angeles, June 6 2006, as a live accompaniment to the Satanic High Mass celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Church of Satan. The performance draws on material from various Lustmord albums, melded and blended into new combinations, as well as new material and improvisations.
By the way, the first trumpet noise you'll hear is made from a kanglin - a ritual Tibetan instrument made from a human thighbone.
Also, it's a good album to relax with.

AFK

For any of you Doors fans out there, a "lost" track is being officially released by the band at Noon time on their Facebook page.

Given the sad state of affairs that is current day rock and roll, I look forward to this moment with great anticipation.
