TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Goddess by Mindfunk

A curious and short-lived band from the early 90s.  Released their first albums before the big grunge explosion.  Band members were from some pretty heavy metal bands like M.O.D. and Celtic Frost.  Even featured a former Nirvana guitarist Jason Everman.  Had they waited a year, they probably would've blown up with Soundgarden et al.

Water You Talking About by Dean Evenson

I've had this CD for ages and am just now discovering the punny song title.

BURZUM - DUNKELHEIT

I'm pretty sure you're just making stuff up, now.

Actually, Burzum is the dude in Norway who murdered this other guy Euronymous in another Black metal band and then proceeded to burn down some churches.

In other words, Dawkins' favorite band.

It's great "background music." Not necessarily the best shit to attentively listen to and analyze, or even sing along or dance to, but it IS great to have the evil ambiance as a soundtrack to sipping coffee and chatting up some spags on the interbutts.

For more attentive listening I would highly recommend Moonsorrow.  Good mix of black metal, folk/viking metal, with a dash of progressive metal.  They're dropping a new album in Feb 11.
