Just finished Outliers...

It was chock full of "no shit, dude..."

Then I realized, Mr. Gladwell has derived an entire career from stating the obvious using borrowed philosophies and interesting anecdotes.

I can't tell if this makes him a genius, as he has used a very typical formula and still managed to be considered "quirky", or if this makes him just another academic yawn.
