Her'es a piece I've written for the Prophetica Discordia. Feedback requested.

QuoteGo ahead, say it to me, say it out loud: Fun is a sacrament which, like religion, must be guarded with territorial pissing and monkey noises. I will moralize you into a hospital, man. Non serviam. Back off."

Richter

Good message, and the presentation is very nonconfrontational and conversational.  Leaves you with more of a "I SHOULD do that.", as opposed to "OMG END OF LIFE".  I like.

Also, motivational pieces with content other than "OMG save the ::Insert pet cause::", or "::Insert pet Political / Social / Band Following:: of the (Country / world) UNITE!", are a rare thing, so this fills a good niche.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

Well done, Cram. Makes me want to get up and GO.

Stumble'd.
One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret never to be told.

Hey, how the fuck did you do that?

roger, faust gave cram a piece of wiki on the PD server to work out his ideas and such.

also cram, cool article! i like the writing style! i may have one or two tiny remarks, but I'll get to that later. I also got a big remark, and that is that the entire text is sort of just meandering, doesnt seem to go anywhere, except at the end of it you get this idea of "i should go and DO something", which is probably the point. in addition to that, it's an easy read, so maybe it doesnt really need a right upfront target and idea where it's going. maybe this was your goal. (it's too late here, sorry for the incoherent feedback)

cram asked for a wiki to play around with so I obliged.

ah yeah, pdcom/cramulus is my "notepad wiki". There are certain ideas which itch in my brain until I've written them down and showed them to someone. And wiki is the perfect format for that because I can easily invite in other collaborators. It's been a very useful tool for certain stuff.

thanx much

and yeah, the idea was to be a sort of rambling meandering essay. Maybe it wanders a bit too much, because I'm not able to bring it all together at the end. If it made you feel like you should do something, but you had to think about what, then I succeeded. If it leaves you going "WTF was THAT all about?" then it meanders too much.

ok, then it's skimming the edge, but still just on the right side ;-)

Agreed.
I'm feeling a build up of willingness to go out and do something, anything!
