QuoteI saw [name deleted] fucking a kid, his age would be about 15 - 18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard the screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn't covered and I saw [name deleted] who was wearing the military uniform putting his dick in the little kid's ass. I couldn't see the face of the kid because his face wasn't in front of the door. And the female soldier was taking pictures. [name deleted], I think he is [deleted] because of his accent, and he was not skinny or short, and he acted like a homosexual (gay). And that was in cell #23 as best as I remember.

Par for the course when the dogs of war are let slip. Thing is - it's not a war. In fact most of the fucking things the US gvmnt have declared war on the last couple of decades have just been bullshit. War on drugs, war on obesity, war on the abstract concept of fear - bag of shite.

Regardless - you put troops on the ground this kind of shit happens. Yes there's supposed to be rules and shit but the reality of the situation is that when the task is to kill people for an unjust and bullshit agenda right and wrong is already rendered irrelevent.

If they thought they could get away with it there'd be ovens fired up already. Hell there probably is somewhere - welcome to the new world order :lulz:

This was always the mission.  The real mission.  Peace and hugs and kittens and grateful Iraqis throwing flowers at their libertators was never part of the plan.

The mission was brutalization.  Iraqis didn't even really figure into it, except as nameless and foreign Others for the psychopaths in Defence and the Whitehouse to project their own subconscious savagery on.

America is weak, you see.  Decadent.  Flabby.  Doesn't have what it takes to forge an empire out of blood and iron, not like the British, or the Romans.  Too concerned with humanitarianism.  Rights.  Fairness.  They can't bring themselves to face down an enemy and do what is necessary to strike the head of any threat that could arise - including that of ideological, fundamentalist Islam.  So you need to throw them into a guerrilla war.  Let them get assassinated, maimed, tortured.  Then you give them the necessary tools and look the other way.  Then you encourage them.  Finally, you actively oversee them, congratulating them down every step of the road to hell that you laid out.  The torturers, if they weren't already sick puppies to begin with, will harden, lose their humanity, come to despise the weakness of their captives and thus weakness in general.  The ethos spreads throughout the armed forces.  Who gives a fuck if you break the arm of an Iraqi, when they're going to be electrocuted down in Abu Ghraib?  What does one rape matter, when they'll suffer hundreds down in the cells?

At the same time, work them at home.  Keep them afraid, fearful.  Show them pictures of the savagery of the insurgents, better to excuse the savagery perpetuated in return by the troops.  Never make it explicit, of course, but don't exactly deny it, either.  Operate out of legal black zones, a wink and nudge...anyone with half a brain can figure out that code, but where is the proof?  Had the photos never got leaked, chances are we still wouldn't know, despite, you know, knowing.

But thats the mission.  That was always the mission.  Even raping kids is nothing but means to an end.

The reinstitutionalized/deinstitutionalized mind is a scary thing.  Esp vis a vis military and police training, because they are mostly taught that might does make right, if they are using the force in question.  I guess that's why my attitude has soured greatly over the years watching my loved ones in the hands of brute strength that gives so little pause to using so much more than a normal person NEEDS in order to move through society properly.

It's an unapologetic attitude of abuse and victimization of others (that are by then seen as less-than-human) that really kills any sort of trust I can have in them for my best interests, or those of my friends and relatives.  I'm not an absolutist about it, not by any means, but there's no fucking way I'd say anything other than "...and so it goes..." about the military ass raping boys over in Iraq or Afghanistan.  I hated typing that out, but I've just become all too cynical about it to be surprised, though it doesn't lessen my disgust at all.
