but that's it, from now on let it be known that my love for vocoders expicitly excludes autotuners, damnit. used to be funky, but now it's used by every band that cannot actually sing and supposedly validated cause it's such postpostpostmodern irony to use an autotuner in a musical style that does not fit it in the least.

these chips were designed for shitty trance, god forbit someone with some actual DSP knowledge would be able to alter the algorithm so it actually doesn't clash as much with the sound of the genre as this does.

It's like spareribs with cotton candy.

Sure the contrast is funny or even kind of nteresting, but that kind of goes away if every song uses it.

And btw it's not only this screamo that is guilty of this. Not by far.
