Hannan, IIRC, was also one of the engineers of the Tory defection from the centre-right EU bloc (which includes Sarkozy and Merkel's parties) for being insufficiently anti-EU, and the creation of their Nazi-infested new bloc of European allies.

I have a strong inkling that whatever health care system that gets passed here will be a popular success too (unless they chicken out and neuter it too much  ). That is why the Republicans are so spooked right now that they've dragged their crazy uncles out of the attic. They know that if they lose this then the rest of the world will know how irrelevant they really are. Then again, that irrelevance will also turn those crazy uncles into small terror cells.
