Nice! I'm getting an Arduino Mega soon. This would go great with my Grand Galactic Inquisitor costume I've been thinking of making. No chance in hell that I'll have either done in time for Halloween this year though.  :sad:

I've got the plans for a device to do the same with sound.

I'm waiting until BLu -ray players get sheap enough for my to scavenger parts for my pocket - LASER  (DEATH RAY)

I'll need to dig, it's in my OLD files.  (Basically tone generation with a 555 timer and a tweeter.)  It's highly specific depending on your elvel of hearing range and hearing damage, but for an industrial setting a common level of tinitus could be assumed and worked with.
