HEY ALL YOU U.SA. SPAGS

IF SCIENTOLOGY IS A TAX-EXEMPT RELIGION

WHY NOT DISCORDIA

TAKE IT TO THE SENATE/CONGRESS/HOUSE OF OVERLORDS

Quote from: Principia DiscordiaThe state does not recognize us, but that's ok because we don't recognize the state.

I wonder if the benefits outweight that dogma.

Who is this "we" that doesn't recognize the state?

Isn't that like begging for a state-provided barstool in the face?

Ok, let me put it this way:  If you file for tax-exempt status, you are asking the State to look in your direction.  Do you really want a team of federal employees auditing you?

Chapter 30 of the Chao te Ching:

If you're going to do some Covert Ops in the name of Discordia,
keep your head down, and Keep Your Fucking Mouth Shut.
A mowhawk is as good as a target during Police Action.

The wise spags toss the wrench into the Machine™,
and then walk away.
They strike against Authority, but don't put it on the Internet.
They subvert the paradigm, but don't stick around to watch.
They mindfuck the people, but don't pat themselves on the back.

If two people know a thing, it is not a secret.
Getting away with it means staying away from it.

And Chapter 54:

Our society is firmly held and steered
by deeply ingrained and arbitrary rules.
Those who choose to play a different game
are usually trampled underfoot,
unless they appear to be playing along.

To belong to the group,
you must follow their rules.
To follow their rules,
you must abandon responsibility.
When you abandon responsibility,
you destroy the Self.

Therefore the wise spags choose responsibly,
and seek out new groups.
They know which rules are their own,
which come from others,
and how to navigate between them.

And finally, Chapter 61:

A successful cabal is like a dust cloud,
arriving from nowhere,
ungraspable,
and fading into nothingness.
The tallest blade of grass gets cut,
while the crab grass creeps unharmed.
Keep your head down.
Keep your fucking mouth shut.

Thus by concentrating on goals
without playing ego games,
much can be accomplished.
If all you want to do
is brag about how cool you are,
you might want learn to play the guitar, instead.

Wow, I got an email from PW just there. Thanks to whoever emailed them, they clarified the reason for our rejection was on the basis that we do not host enough original content. However after looking at us again, they think there might be enough between the BIP and the forum to justify us publishing adverts.

Hope is not lost, I may not have to fill the site with sexycam adverts yet.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

If you want to create a tax-exempt organization, it's not hard to do. You simply have to start a church and keep the church's books separate, and the church will be tax-exempt. The end. It can be any kind of church; the IRS doesn't care as long as you can prove that it functions as a church. The church may pay you wages, and you will have to pay taxes on those wages.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Look, asshole:  Your 'incomprehensible' act, your word-salad, your pinealism...It BORES ME.  I've been incomprehensible for so long, I TEACH IT TO MBA CANDIDATES.  So if you simply MUST talk about your pineal gland or happy children dancing in the wildflowers, go talk to Roger, because he digs that kind of shit

:lulz: an Erisian Biblethumper?  :lulz:

its not like the goverment would start snuffing out discordians because they knew they existed, im certain the activities of people in this board are 95% within legality.

You are giving too much credit to the level of subversion that is going on.

On the other hand, playing devil's advocate: geez if a dozen advert companies with questionable morality don't want to use this site, doesn't that show the government wouldn't accept Discordia?
