Cold grey dawn
sees the frost on my cheeks.
Frozen Tears
from an Icy Heart
left for weeks in the freezer
of your soul.

And so I'm sitting on the roof,
My back against the rough brick,
thinking of the ways
It all could have been so different

Why are you doing this to me?
Am I not living up
To what I'm supposed to be?
Why am I seething
With this animosity?
Imma let you finish,
But Leonard Cohen
Had some of the best
Depressing lyrics of all time.

Of.

All.

Time.

Holy shit.  :lulz:  Leave it to LMNO to wring one last funny out of a used-up meme.

Now THAT, sir, is a craftsman.

That was a particularly expert touch, there, Alphapance.

I have to be in a "mood" to listen to Leonard Cohen.  Some of his stuff reminds me of cheesy romance novels from the 70's, though.

I'm always in the mood for Cohen.  Everybody Knows may be the best song ever written by anyone, anywhere.

He just makes me want to drink Corvoisier, put on a scratchy acrylic turtleneck sweater, light a fire in the grate and pop some JiffyPop is all.  While watching the Munsters.

But, then again, most things have that effect on me.

This is true.  But I was exercising lame hyperbole, masking the fact I have odd taste in music.

Can't be any worse that RWHN's.

I love Leonard Cohen. Lovelovelove.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Should I be ashamed that I actually own a Starship album, and not the one with "We Built This City"?
Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

LMNO

Please tell me it's the one with "Stairway to Cleaveland" on it.

AFK

Nope, 1989's Love Among the Cannibals.  But, in my defense, I don't think I've actually listened to it once since 1989.  That was my schmaltzy rock phase, the same year that brought us Cheap Trick's Lap of Luxury.

Wow.

I feel so much better about owning an Animotion album.

Both of you should kill yourselves and fuck the body.

Just saying.
