I spent a week inserting myself into various political rping threads and acting like a caffeine high six year old. Twas fun.

I remember having a nation on this a couple years back. Sure, I'll start a new one.
My shit list: Stephen Harper, anarchists that complain about taxes instead of institutionalized torture, those people walking, anyone who lets a single aspect of themselves define their entire personality, salesmen that don't smoke pipes, Fredericton New Brunswick, bigots, philosophy majors, my nemesis, pirates that don't do anything, criminals without class, sociopaths, narcissists, furries, juggalos, foes.

New nation.  :)

The Sultanate of Boroglavia is a fledgling, devout nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The enormous, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Commerce. The average income tax rate is 33%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Crime is moderate. Boroglavia's national animal is the tumbleweed, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the bullet.

The Grand Duchy of My infected genitals is a fledgling, devout nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, corrupt, moralistic government concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Religion & Spirituality and Commerce are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A small private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Soda Sales.

Crime is a problem. My infected genitals's national animal is the vampire, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the cigarette.

"Whoa, whoa," says noted accountant Jennifer Gutenberg. "Are these people serious? The last thing I want to see when I'm out for a coffee is some lumbering, over-weight nudist coming down the sidewalk toward me. If people want to get naked, they can do it in the privacy of their own homes. Think of the children!"

"The fact is, the tumbleweed population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Miranda O'Bannon. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks?"
