"At the teaparties they only dunked bags into cups of water...because they didn't want to break the law. And that just about sums up America's revolutionary spirit."

I went to Hulu to get my anime fix ,right (I know, bad habit), And I saw the advertisement for the new episode of Sons of Tucson. I  totally forgot about this, and I will now watch it. For science, and so you don't have to.

I will give my opinion on it as soon as I finish watching. If my brain doesn't collapse under the weight of the fail, anyway.

Not clicking.  They can't possibly get it right.

My first impression is, not bad. For sitcoms, anyway.

No. They didn't get it right, but it's a far cry from the average sitcom humor. And they got a couple of situations close.

Premise: These kids hire some loser to pretend to be their dad for an hour. They continue to have problems that require an adult, so they keep hiring him. Eventually they keep him full time.

The little one is psychotic. The middle one is really the parent. The oldest is probably the most normal one.

:aaa: <--- I did this a few times. Seriously.

No, it isn't. But it's damn funny sometimes.

Hey, you can't expect the REAL freaks so early. They're only on episode four, and even the good Doktor didn't find them till he'd been here a few years.

But I don't expect them. It's not really Tucson, just a glammed up dysfunction fest.

But are there tapeworm fetishists?

If I had a nickel for every time I asked that question ...
