That's sorta why I stayed away from Titanic and the like.

Titanic mostly sucked.  But there were two good parts in the movie.

Three if you count the boat sinking.

It's funny--the movies I mentioned have all been on TV or cable at some point or other, so I'll walk in the room and a scene from the movie'll be on.  I casually watch it, out of sync with the rest of the movie, but I never see the whole.  Well, except Avatar, of course, that just came out on DVD.

Wow. I enjoyed a lot of the movies on everybodys lists. Guess my head is on backwards again.

It has nothing to do with the movies being good. It has everything to do with refusing  to see them, for various reasons including but not limited to a sheer desire to be contrary and difficult.

Had a feeling you might get the point of this nicely.

OK, but you MUST watch Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Richter

Go see it live.  Don't just watch the movie.  You've seen it before live at least 3 times too if anyone asks.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

The TV version edits out those two good parts I was referring to.

Eoc,

Thank you for link to 'Hype Aversion'. It is a trait that I possess strongly.(Though, I usually call it 'Moose Sweater' on account of a terrible Xmas experience.....)

No.

I am specifically referring to the live show.

Never.

Did I forget to mention "The Full Monty"

The opening credits is just a shot of Scarlett Johansen's ass in panties, back in her days of still having some meat on her bones.

If they'd stopped there, it would have been fine.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Gone with the Wind yet. I'm tempted to say Citizen Kane too, but I might actually watch that someday.
