So, this whistleblower to Wikileaks, Bradley Manning, got charged today, and faces up to 52 years in prison for leaking a video, among other related charges.  He is 22 years old.

Meanwhile, those who have taken part in, or else ordered torture methods to be employed on suspected terrorists, are granted effective immunity by the Executive Branch, as part of their "lets ignore the past and get along in bipartisan unity" policy.

If you wreck the world economy, you will be gifted billions of taxpayers dollars.

If you drop bombs on Pakistani villagers from aerial drones, you will likely get a promotion.

Assassination without charge is a-OK.

So is kidnapping people to drop them in legal black holes like Bagram.

Obama's war against whistleblowers is a generally accepted fact in media advocacy and freedom of information circles.  His administration has been handing out ludicrous penalties for anyone leaking information to the press (except when they want it leaked, naturally) and attempting to tighten up various laws in order to be able to punish harder and for more offences.
