Breitbart got caught smearing a member of the administration with "racism" by releasing a heavily edited tape of her speaking.  The complete tape came out, and now the teabaggers are saying "he got the tape that way and had no reason not to trust it."

Dan Rather was in a similar situation a few years back concerning a Bush memo, and was dragged over the coals by the neocons.  Now that behavior is suddenly acceptable.

There are no innocents in the Shirley Sherrod mess. You have an administration that pushed her to resign without due process. You have a civil rights organization that condemned her without hearing her side of the story. And you have a news media that failed to ask the most basic journalism 101 questions that could have spared everyone the last 36 hours or so of grief. But this is a controversy based on a lie. Breitbart is a gigantic meat bag of douche, so this particular incident really isn't too surprising for him. 

Oh, and now Bill O is crying that somehow Fox News is the victim in all this because they got criticized for shoddy journalism.

This is one of the stupidest things I've seen in awhile.

The spin coming from Fox News is powerful enough that you could hook a magnet to it and power the world for several months. I caught about 2 minutes of a Fox News radio show on the way to work and they were complaining about Obama firing Sherrod so quickly when just 48 hours ago they were calling for her head. THIS IS MADNESS!!!

Breitbart was the tool who helped publicize the doctored ACORN tapes as well.

Also, he's a douche because he has a website called "Big Hollywood" where failed conservative z-list actors bitch about how all the A-list Hollywood stars want to do is go out and drink blenderized fetuses at Karl Marx parties and set a bad example for the nation and stuff. 

Because, and lets face it, there are lots of legitimate gripes about the idiocy of the Hollywood jet set and their champagne social liberalism, but their vast political influence isn't really a huge deal.

Probably.  In fact, most of the people on Big Hollywood are, curiously, not actors at all, but west-coast based conservative bloggers, bitching about an industry they are not part of, do not want to be part of and are clearly not interested in except as a foil for their political rantings.
