Pretty good. Is the vocalist on Run different than on the other tracks?

Cramulus

This is largely a product of the period in which I grew up

but I think rock music was best in the 90s during the grunge swing.

After "alternative" was consumed and re purposed by our capitalist handlers, we ended up with about 10 years of really awful music. But I do think it's pulling up out of the nose dive right now.

Here's some of the rock music that's wormed its way into my brain

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjFaenf1T-Y

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j7huh5Egew - a few years old, but how can you not love this song? IMO these guys saved rock from limp bizkit and the like

Broken Bells - The High Road - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWBG1j_flrg&feature=av2n - is this rock? I dunno but I love it

Spoon - "Written in Reverse" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYWlg9iHHlY&feature=channel

I couldn't point you at any one song in particular, but I'm also really digging the Black Keys

Payne

As an aside, did you ever catch that post on the Frost Heaves facebook page by that other dude who seemed to think he had first dibs on the Frost Heaves name?

I saw it, but didn't believe it. I didn't believe it, when I saw it...

Thread Jack over, sorry RWHN. It was just bugging me.

Just about eveything by Muse is amazing, imo.

Juana

Muse sold out to SMeyers and the Twihards. Can't listen anymore, especially after I figured out which song inspired Edward.

I put forth: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94c7fdAxTas

I read a thing where they only knew it was going to be a vampire movie, and then when they finally see it, they were like "WTF is this shit?"

Juana

Still. Even if they were stupid enough to NOT LOOK UP WHAT THEY WERE SINGING FOR, that I can tell you which song Edward was inspired by, is enough.

so you don't like muse's music because stephanie myers likes muse's music? eh not the best reason to not like a band, but different strokes for different folks

it turns out muse isn't so crazy about twilight, btw

Adios

Shit. I thought we were talking about Steppenwolf.
