HOWEVER, Vampires could easily give their proxy to another vampire for added support and strength in numbers.

If Sig and Semaj are both vamps, then Sig benefits not only from knowing Semaj won't use his vote against him, but also Sig gets to appear innocent of the next round of staking.

Xannin ran a cracked and thirsty tongue over his fangs, the urge to drink was so great, so overwhelming. A hand clamped down on his shoulder.

"Patience, my child." Dracula rasped.

Together they watched Xannin's first kill enter the church holding a candle in one hand and a crucifix in the other.

"Now."

The church bells began to toll midnight and Xannin pressed against the ancient oak doors of the church. The victim turned with a start.

"No! Not you! Stay back! The power of Christ compels you!" He said, holding out the crucifix like a shield. Xannin grinned and knocked the ineffectual piece of wood out of his hands.

A few seconds later the blood-splattered candle crashed to the floor and went out.






Xannin has turned a new vampire; their name is Asclan.

And Fred, if I were the vampire, why would I try to out other vampires, especially since the vamp only knows who he creates?  That really doesn't make sense.
